Front Wheel drive fluid?

Answer:  The average consumer will probably use a tractor 50 hours per year.  Say you buy a tractor with 800 to 1000 existing hours of use.  Average life of a diesel engine should be at least 4000 hours with proper maintenance.  Simple math says that a used compact would last you 60 years and even if you use your tractor 200 hours per year this is still 15 years of service.  The bottom line is that purchasing a reconditioned compact tractor is surely an affordable alternative to buying new. How do I check the front wheel drive fluid?

The front wheel drive fluids are very easy to check with a  dipstick.   To check the engine oil you just raise the hood and checking the hydraulic system is also done by using a dipstick.

The pinion gear design provides a shorter turning radius than the u-joint design. click to enlargeThe loaders are mounted and inspected at the loader shop.

A few words of advice:  There are many reputable tractor suppliers to purchase a tractor from but, not all of them recondition their tractors.  Some are just unloaded from the containers and sold direct to the consumer.  We are in no way bashing other suppliers of tractors, however we feel it is our obligation to make you aware that there is a big difference in the imported compact tractors.  Parts availability is something that should be considered.  Another thing to consider is whether you want a 2, 3, or 4 cylinder engine.  The 3 & 4 cylinder engines run much quieter and smoother than the two cylinder models.  That's why we handle the brands and models we do.  We want your tractor to give you many years of dependable - worry free service.   Just take a little time to do your homework before you purchase your tractor.
